1.   Employment

    Graduates form the Department of Translation and Interpreting can be employed as professional translators/interpreters, translation project managers, linguistic experts for the software and web localization industry, translators or editors working in publishing houses, editor-translator in mass media businesses, representatives for business negotiation, secretaries in international trade businesses, employees for both the inbound and outbound travel agencies, airline services or the tourism industry, English teachers, and guides working at museums or art galleries.

 

2.   Postgraduate Study

    Our graduate students can also pursue their postgraduate study at graduate schools in Taiwan or abroad to study translation studies or interpreting studies, English or American language, English or American literature, linguistics, mass media or communication, cultural studies, international relations, international trade, EFL teaching, or sociology, etc.
